Biography:
Dr Zoran Jovančević, primarius doctor, is a specialist of anaesthesiology with reanimatology since 1982. During many years he was leading the departments of anaesthesia and critical care in general hospitals and worked as anaesthesiologist in Clinical centre Bežanijska kosa, Belgrade, Serbia. He was a Director of Clinic of Anaesthesia and Critical care in Clinical center of Montenegro. He was mentoring many younger colleagues. Pioneer of applying regional anaesthesia and clinical nutrition in Montenegro, dr Jovančević is author and co-author of more than 35 scientific publications and co-author of two textbooks, both used as literature at University of Montenegro. He was a local consultant of WHO for clinical use of blood. He was a teaching assistant at High Medical School Berane and School of Medicine of Podgorica. He was a member of working group for writing the Law for Clinical use of blood in Montenegro. During two years he was the president of Association of anaesthesiologists of Montenegro.
