Biography:
Marija Topalović-Grković, MD, was born in 1953. She graduated from the School of Medicine of the University of Zagreb in 1976, and became a specialist in anaesthesiology and reanimatology in 1985. From 1978, she worked at the Department of Urology, University Hospital Center Zagreb, and later at Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine, Division of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care for the Treatment of Surgical and Urology Patients, which also included kidney transplants, and was the head of the Division for several years before retiring.
