Born in Nis, Serbia, February 1, 1982
Ivana is an enthusiastic anesthesiologist heading the Anesthesia and Intensive Care Department in a large private clinic based in Catania, Italy, a cultural crossroad within the Mediterranean sea and mount Etna.
She has been working in different Specialties in Operatory Room and in ICU, with a focused training in airway management. She graduated in Medicine in either Serbia and Italy, with a specialization in Anesthesia and Intensive Care. She is author or co-author of different scientific papers, books chapters and congress proceedings, and she is also appreciated speaker in different congresses, workshops and scientific meeting in Italy and Europe, where she enjoys combining science and international friendship with a touch of glamour (and why not, some nice shopping).
Out of this, she is also a devoted and careful mother, rising a wonderful and charming little princess named Sofia, which she cares of together with her work, her commitment and her extremely active and airway management enthusiast husband.
