Biography:
Antigona Hasani MD, is Professor and head of department of Anesthesiology, Reanimation and Emergent medicine, at Faculty of Medicine/University of Prishtina, in Prishtina, the capital of Kosova.
She is the author of a substantial number of peer-reviewed scientific papers and books in the field of anesthesia, reanimation, and pain medicine. She has joined 6 ESA and ESCIM multicenter studies.
Prof Antigona is a member of a number of multiple state, national and international organizations and societies, like European Society of Anesthesia, European Airway Management Society, European Resuscitation Council and Turkish Society of Anesthesiology and Reanimation.
In 2008, she has founded the Society for Anesthesiology and Intensive Care of Kosova (SAICK), in 2018, she founded and lead the Kosova Airway Management Society, in 2019 Kosovo Resuscitation Society and in 2023 Kosovar Society of Intensive Care and Perioperative Medicine
She has various clinical and research interests, including neuroanesthesia, pediatric anesthesia, airway management, cardiopulmonary resuscitation and trauma life support, and management of critical ill patients.
